Taiwanese, Providence-based writer: poetry, short fiction, the area where they overlap & the occasional creative essay. Former fiction editor for Issues Magazine, poetry editorial staff for Clerestory & two-time RTHK Radio/The Standard Short Story Contest winner. My short story “The First Last Mermaid Porn Queen” was a 2014 Pushcart Prize nominee now available in anthology from Jersey Devil Press.

Incapable of longform without drifting into vignette, I’m most interested in the visceral & intimate: how physicality becomes emotion writ large, & all the ways our strange meat bodies respond to each other or magical realism elements. Visual art is just some stuff I’m playing around with.
